Where are the best places to be in Paris?

Outside Louvre, Tuileries, Palais Royal.
I like to be near Pyramide du Louvre at that time of day.

At the top of Parc de Belleville. It faces west- / southwest, which means you can see the sun %26quot;hitting%26quot; all the monuments of Paris which lie spread out before your feet.
I am putting that on my own list right now ! Thanks for the input !
