thinkn of taking my wife to paris for our one year aniversary... i like tthe hotel luxembourg.. has anyone satyed there? do they offer non-smoking rooms, is it quiet? should i request a garden room or street veiw room? thanks Jim

Hi, it would be worthwhile to read the many comments to the left of this forum about the Luxembourg Parc. The hotel sounds very nice from what I%26#39;ve read. Hotels do offer non-smoking rooms, and I believe they all are non-smoking nowadays. I%26#39;ve never stayed there but the location is really nice. It isn%26#39;t a noisy location and I think someone wrote a review saying the street view is fine except their room was a bit on a lower floor so had to keep the blinds pulled for privacy. You can always email the hotel and ask them for advice on the rooms.

Hi! Haven%26#39;t stayed there either but we walked by it 2 weeks ago on our way from the Luxembourg Gardens to St-Germain.
Location is fantastic and if you can afford it go for the room with terrace. It is right across the street from the Gardens. Have a look at their website you may have enough info to make up your mind (room with terrace is close to 400 euros a night)
