Paris with 3 kids!

Our family is planning a trip to France, with four nights in Paris. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Paris that will accomodate our family of 5 - 3 kids ages 10, 12 %26amp; 20? Thanks!

You might want to be a bit more specific about exactly how you define %26quot;accommodate%26quot;, and that would allow people here to assist you better.

Most hotels can accommodate families of this size, but it sounds as if you are looking for something specific about the type of accommodations you prefer.

You%26#39;re probably better off looking for an apartment rental. Many require a minimum stay of a week, and even those that don%26#39;t will tack on a surcharge for short stays.

Try vrbo.com, where you%26#39;re more likely to find flexible arrangements as these are rentals listed by the actual owners, not a commercial rental agency.

Actually, by %26#39;accomodate%26#39; I simply mean that there will be room for all of us. It seems that the hotels only allow for up to 4 people. I%26#39;m just trying to find a hotel that will allow us to stay together and not book two rooms.

During Spring Break we stayed at the Citadines Apart Hotel by the Louvre. We had 5 people. It had a bedroom with 2 beds and a living room with a sofabed. Plus we got a rollaway bed. It has a small kitchen which was nice to prepare meals. It was a great location and a perfect place to stay with families.

Thanks for the tip on www.vrbo.com - I%26#39;ve used that site in the States. I will also check out the Citadines - I%26#39;m not familiar with this chain, so I appreciate the advice! Any other successful visits with a family of 5 (or more) would be appreciated too!

I have to second the suggestion of citadines. They are a chain of aparthotels - the rooms are a cross between an apartment and a hotel. You get the benefits of a hotel: front desk with helpful staff, luggage storage, no minimum number of nights, a definite street address, the possibility of changing rooms and still being at the same address if the AC blows up or the bathroom floods, sometimes a breakfast room although no room service etc.

You also have the benefit of the extra room and the kitchen and laundry facilities that an apartment offers. Even if you don%26#39;t cook any meals in the apartment the kitchen will allow you to easily have snacks and drinks in your room. It also means that you are not limited to all going to bed at the same time.

An aprtment might be better..we have had great experiences with Parisian Flat in the past. Modern apartments with great beds, baths and kitchens....centrally located, clean and well priced for the space. They canalso help with airport transfers.

We have stayed in several different flats.

Cheers and happy planning.

I%26#39;m finding several options with www.vrbo.com, but some requests are directing me to two other websites: vacationinparis.com and usaparis.com. Has anyone used these websites? Thanks.
