Yikes! Euro up to $1.42

Anyone know of a site that gives long-term projections on exchange rates? I%26#39;ll be visiting Paris in November, and worry that I should buy Euros now before they cross $1.50, $1.60 or more ...

If we knew that we%26#39;d all be speculating on the currency markets and making our fortunes.

I%26#39;m bummed too! I hope it won%26#39;t go up too much but when I booked my tickets, it was $1.24 to the Euro which was cheaper than my %26#39;06 visit. However, we were there in November of %26#39;07 and it was $1.49 to the Euro and that hurt!

In 2008 it spent quite a bit of time around $1.55-1.59 and that hurt even more. Though $1.42 is painful, it feels better than $1.50+

I thinking that sounds like a great rate I wish that is what we got it for. We are going to Europe in September from Australia and it cost us about $1.85 now that is YUK. Good luck with your decision it is always hard to know when to buy currency or not.

I remember that high of $1.59 because it happened so soon after we left. We were happy to get out at $1.42! The worst was London though, it was $2.07 to the Pound and we were in London for only 24 hour since we got a direct flight back home from Heathrow. I sneezed and it cost me $100.

Meant $1.49

It%26#39;s swings and roundabouts. I%26#39;m quite pleased as I was only getting about €1.06 to the £ for the first quarter of this year. Today it%26#39;s about €1.16. I%26#39;m in Amsterdam next week and I look forward to it feeling 10% cheaper.
