Key Camp-Good or bad?

Hi. We are thinking about going to a Key Camp in the South of France or Spain. I have had mixed reviews and am keen to find out which is true. Any site recommendations or other companies would be welcomed.

Keycamp like most operators do not own their sites. They rent pitches for the season from local holiday parcs. If you are with Keycamp there will usually be other companies on the site eg Eurocamp, Canvas holidays, Europarcs + many more.

I would suggest making a shortlist of sites used by the main companies then searching for other users. Prices can vary a lot.

One exception is Siblu who own and operate almost all their own sites. Can be a bit %26#39;Brits abroad%26#39; though.

As all the sites are geared to families with children of all ages be prepared for lots of kids, especially in school holiday periods.

Hi what kind of place are you looking for %26amp; will you have your own transport? We have stayed at Prairies de la Mer at Port Grimaud for the last 10 years. There are lots of different companies on site. We have always used bj-riviera. It%26#39;s a fantastic site with direct access to the beach, within walking distance of Port Grimaud and a boat ride to St.Tropez, several bars %26amp; restaurants with good live music and there is a fairground for the kids.

We%26#39;ve used various key camp sites and found both the sites and the keycamp reps excellent: one year we had to have a pair of glasses - spectacles - couriered out for our daughter - the staff were brilliant. Another year - same daughter :o) needed a medical consult. One was organised with a local doctor within 90 minutes.

If you can get a keycamp reservation at a Les Castels site, then I would recommend it. The Castels chain are all situated in the grounds of former chateaux and the standard is really great

Brill caravan site near Port Grimound in the south of france. We have used this site on and off for years useing www.bj-rivieraholidays.com. Duncan (owner) and his team really look after you and the vans are spot on. Safe site direct to beach. Entertainment for all ages. A family run site for all ages.
