Honeymoon in Corsica and Sardinia

Hi

We%26#39;re spending our honeymoon in Corsica and Sardinia in late August/September 2009. Having not been to Corsica before (we have been to Sardinia (Villasimius)), and only having two weeks to explore both islands, I am looking for recommendations of what to do/where to stay in both. We generally like a bit of atmosphere at night (nothing too quiet), and be able to walk to restaurants and bars from our accommodation. We%26#39;re not fussy about having to drive to a beach, if needs be.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Corsican nightlife, in my experience, tends to consist of eating dinner at 8 and possibly strolling along the seafront. I have never been in August when possibly nightclubs may open up in the larger towns. The vast majority of tourists in August are either French or Italian so they would be the ones catered to.

For any sort of nightlife, you will almost certainly need to stay in one of the larger towns on the coast. Calvi, Ajaccio, Bastia, Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio.
