Tickets to museums

Could anyone give advice on buying tickets fort the museums/attractions in Paris prior to arriving? Does this really help?

IMHO, the %26quot;best%26quot; way to see museums (if you%26#39;re going to see a lot of them) is to buy the Paris Museum Pass - it also allows you to skip the lines to buy tickets at each museum - a HUGE time saver.

The Paris Museum Pass comes in 2, 4 %26amp; 6 day versions. It covers most of the major Museums and sights in Paris with the exception of the Eiffel Tower, Marmottan Museum, Picasso Museum (I think......).......

I beleive you can purchase them at CDG upon arrival although I%26#39;ve always purchased mine at one of the smaller museums (perhaps the Rodin Museum - I%26#39;ve heard there%26#39;s short lines there...).

Anyway, there%26#39;s no need to purchase the Museum Pass ahead of time, there%26#39;s usually an extra service charge to have them sent to you in the U.S. - save the money, buy it once you arrive in Paris.

Thanks for the info!

Picasso Museum is on the Museum Pass - at least it was in March. The website lists all the museums included. It is easy to buy at CDG tourist information booth.
