safety in 11th distric

131 rue de charonne in the 11th district.

Is it safe at night to walk around alone for a female?

We%26#39;ve been to many restaurants in that area after dark with no problems - and highly recommend Chardenoux, Bistro de Pientre, Le Square Trousseau, Restaurant Paul Bert.

Typically, you%26#39;re not so much wandering around as returning %26quot;home%26quot; from a neighborhood restaurant or cafe or from elsewhere in Paris.

I%26#39;m female and much prefer the buses to the metro anyway - especially at night.

That address is right along bus route #76 which runs every day and until about half past midnight, so very convenient.

After your first evening or two, you%26#39;ll get a feel for how comfortable you are alone after dark and can proceed accordingly.
