Ciel de Paris @ Tour Montparnasse restaurant

Can anyone who has been here give me some feedback on how it is? Thinking of dining there while on our trip to Paris for a special dinner out. Are there opportunities for me to take pictures or would that look too crass at a nice restaurant?

We were at the observation deck last summer... you may also get access there if you%26#39;re at the restaurant.

We skipped the meal at the tower and just went for a drink instead. I think you need to book or at least its advisble to book for dinner. The 3 course meal is about 60euro, and a drink at the bar cost about 15!! but bear in mind its 10 euro to get to the observation desk so its worth the 15 euro to get access to the floor and a drink. There was a queue of people waiting to get in at around 9pm when we were there, its not the type of place where you can just stand at the bar, I think you have to wait for a seat to become available.

The view from the restaurant / bar is spectacular at night as it over looks the Eiffel tower, which lights up like a sparkler every hour on the hour in the evening.

There were plenty of people taking pictures when we were there, but most of the windows have tables, seats in front of them so just take other diners / drinkers into consideration if taking a picture.
