What fun to see Paris through the eyes of a 10-year-old girl!

You have the Louvre on Day 2, which would be Tuesday according to your itinerary. The Louvre is closed on Tuesday.

The Museum Pass will probably not be a good deal for you, as you must use it on consecutive days and you have Louvre, Versailles, L%26#39;orangerie on days 2, 4, and 6. Of course, you%26#39;ll need to move the Louvre to a different day (unless I read your schedule wrong), so if you moved the Louvre to Day 5, it might be worth it for dropping into another museum.

Be certain to buy your ticket to Versailles on-line if you don%26#39;t get the Museum Pass. The lines can be very long to buy tickets.

Try to see the Eiffel Tower after dark when it twinkles for 5 minutes on the hour - very awe-inspiring. This is best viewed from a block or 2 away.

Walk along the Seine on a warm day. Go to St.Chappelle when you go to Notre Dame - it%26#39;s only a couple blocks away and beautiful stained glass.

It sounds like a great itinerary. The Seine cruise at night is really special--all the monuments are lit up and it%26#39;s really beautiful. So try to go on one of the last tours==after dark.

A lively area to have dinner would be on the Left Bank around Rue Buci, a market street. Lots happening there--many cafes, bars, a great gelatto stand, many restaurants on all the streets that connect to Buci. You can also walk to the Seine from there towards Place St Michel, Notre Dame, etc. Or walk to Boulevard St. Germain.

Sounds like a great trip!

Thanks everyone and i shall change the Louvre to another day as it is closed Tuesdays

and then it would be worth getting the museum pass especially as to avoid queues.

Any other suggestions for the other days??

A ten yr-old girl might enjoy the fashion show at Galerie Lafayette. You need to make reservations in advance. http://www2.galerieslafayette.com/international/goFolder.do?f=fashion_en%26amp;lang=en%26amp;fontLang=nullere%26#39;s the link:

She might enjoy the doll museum, the counterfeit museum, the science museum...the list goes on and on.

Does she have any particular interests? If so, let us know and we can point you in the right direction.

Sorry, I don%26#39;t know why that link didn%26#39;t paste correctly. New computer...hmmm. Btw, I like that you%26#39;ve left lots of open time for wandering. It%26#39;s one of the most pleasurable ways to get to know Paris.

I would think a 10 yo girl might enjoy tea someplave pretty-Laduree on champs elysee or the resto at the Jacquemart-Andre Museum(this is not on pass but an interesting place as it is the home of avid art collectors.)

Note the museum pass comes in 2,4,6 day versions not 3 day.

I like the Cluny Museum -the Lady and Unicorn tapestries might fascinate your daughter.

Hi ,, I was just wondering ,, your dd may be tired from the FT Night tour,, it is not hard,( very easy really) but it does not end till about 11( ours ended a bit later) and then by the time you are back at hotel it can be very late.. my kids at 10 would be quite tired from being up so late? Be sure to eat a good dinner before, we were so hungary after it we had to find a cafe for a late night snack,, so didn%26#39;t get to bed till 12:30,, which made the next day tiring( especially since we then took the FT tour to Versailles and had to be at their office at 7:30 as I recall)

Great ideas and suggestions thanks keep them coming please

xx

You missed Arc de triomphe and Champ elysses. They are a must see. We walked the whole length of the boulevard..you can do this on day 6 since u have time.

Also do u plan to do Louvre in half a day? Because your itenirary said that you%26#39;ll go to lunch after Louvre...bad plan! Louvre is huge and u need atleast 5 hours to cover atleast a few important things..
