Parking outside Paris

Hello ,i am planning to drive to paris from Compiegne and just looking for a place to park in the outskirts, had a look at a few underground parking places and the cheapest i found was Parking 2000 - 234 rue de Crimée - 75019 PARIS

does anyone know this place ,if yes is it far from centre paris ???

I do not known the exact location but it is within the Métro zone 1-2 of central Paris.

From your parking location, walk south along rue de Crimée until Avenue de Flandre where you will take a left and look for the Métro station. You can reach easily anywhere in Paris from this Métro entrance.

thanks for ur reply ,what about 25 rue du Banquier .is that closer to central paris ? i am thinking to stay till it gets dark to watch the eilfel towers light ,does the metro run till late and is it safe ?

Choose whichever you find easy. Either way you%26#39;ll need to take the métro to other parts of Paris.

Hello, I have used Parking 2000 and thought it was great. However, it%26#39;s about 300m walk to the metro station - not easy if you have large bags. The 54 bus stops close by the parking garage on Rue Crimee. Turn left as you exit the car park. This will take you to Gare du Nord. From there all of Paris is accessible.

NB you enter the garage on Rue Gaston Tessier. YOu can use this to exit on foot, or the exit direct onto Rue Crimee.

Above link does not seem to work. Go to www.ratp.fr

In the middle of the screen you will see Départ / Plan de quartier. Select Station and type in Crimee. This will give you the map I tried to give you. Enlarge it to the second largest option and you will see the bus stops and metro station.

The bus stop is at 237 Rue de Crimee.

Haven%26#39;t you looked at a map of the Paris region and of Paris yet? Please do it ASAP! and read a good guide on Paris.

The 19th district isn%26#39;t in the suburbs at all, it is in Paris, as indicated by the district number 19 (there are 20 arrondissements--districts--in the historical city of Paris. They are numbered by the Post office from 75001 to 75020 but are numbered-and called- by everyone from 1st to 20th.). The parking is close to the Boulevard Peripherique (a ring road around Paris).

Have a look at Google Earth then Google maps then street views to look at views of the area. Driving to Paris from Compiegne is OK as long as you have a good map and are careful. Hopefully you will not stay there as it is not the most fascinating place in Paris! get a hotel closest to the centre and go there by cab from the parking.
