We just got back home after spending 35 days in Europe and on the cruise ship. Our trip to Paris was outstanding , thanks to the help I got right here on trip advisor. I had booked a hotel room in Ansiers a long way to Paris from there, but was advised to get a room in the city, and even given a list of good hotels. I chose the Tourisme Hotel, and it was just great. Only 10 minutes to Eiffel Tower, and the subway right in front of hotel. Tons of restaurants so close, lovely view of Paris street out of our window, which opened to let us hear the sounds of the busy, tree-lined street. Ate crepes, went on a hop on hop off bus, and saw Paris without getting lost. So Beautiful! Thank you again,for the help you gave to make this trip unforgettable

Well... it is good to feel appreciated. Please share more details regarding Paris. I think that what makes us special (vs. guide books) is that we have last minute updated information.
