Food prices in Disney Paris

We are going to be staying in the Disneyland Hotel next week (Jun09) %26amp; although we are aware that things will be quite pricey, we are now hearing that burger %26amp; chips for a family of 4 costs 100 GBP. Can anyone give some sort of indication if this is correct or overhyped? I%26#39;m not sure if this is eating in a restaurant or %26#39;counter%26#39; food. Thanks!

Some of the restraunts are terrible, some are great. I highly reccomend the Silver Spur steakhouse in Frontierland. Me and my girlfriend got a two course meal with one drink for 45 Euros there, and as we ordered Sirloin (and by the way it%26#39;s still the best steak I ever had) I think this is pretty reasonable, especially for Disney. The themeing is really nice too and they do a kids menu. Also, the Mexican counter food restraunt in Frontierland is great for lunch and cheap as hell. Fajitas, Burritos etc for around 9 Euros I think. Supposedly, the Restraunt-Des-Stars in Walt Disney Studios is reasonable too (haven%26#39;t been) and if you go there you%26#39;re kids will get to see an animatronic of a rat from Ratatoullie, who appears from underneath a silver dish on a trolley which one of the cast members (dressed as a chef) pushes around.

Avoid the Blue Lagoon restraunt (in Pirates of the Carribean). You pay for the view, which is great, but the food is terrible and overpriced. For a really nice meal (maybe on your last night?) La Auberge Du Cinderillion in Fantasy land is excellent, themed like Cindererlla (including the pumpkin chariot etc) and frequented by the Princesses for kids. Expensive though, definitely a one off.

Generally the food inside Disney is good but not inexpensive. I have eaten at the Blue Lagoon 3 or 4 times and on each occasion the food was well prepared but again expensive. There is a buffet at a restaurant located at the end of Main Street (Walt%26#39;s I believe) which I consider to be one of the better values within the Park.

By contract, the restaurants just outside of the Parks (Disney Village) are best avoided. Food here is average at best (in fairness I have not eaten at all of the restaurant choices), very expensive (menus are posted out front), and surprisingly busy mostly due to a lack of alternatives.

As a general rule I avoid fast food, particularly chain or corporate fast food, but I%26#39;ll shall break my own rule and actually recommend the McDonald%26#39;s here. The McDonald%26#39;s fare is better prepared, offers vegetables instead of fries, wine instead of soft drinks (wine for the Polyphenol antioxidants of course) and all of this at a fraction of a price for the same items elsewhere nearby.

However, people do not go to Disneyland for the food so maintaining realistic exceptions of what to expect might help avoid disappointment.
