CDG to Brugge

I would like some assistance to work out how to get from CDG airport to Brugge

I believe it is possible to go from the CDG airport to Brussels and then onto Brugge, however I have had some difficulty getting this sorted so some specific help would be appreciated.

Does the train to Brussels from CDG leave from a specific terminal?

What train site would allow me to book this online and then print out a ticket?

Or could I book this online and pick up the ticket at CDG airport with my reservation # %26amp; some ID? - which train company could I do this ?

Also I read that it is perhaps easier to go from CDG to Brussels (Midi or Nord?) and then purchase a ticket to Brugge from Brussels ?

Would this be correct?

I will have been a plane foreeever when I land at CDG so would really prefer not to have to go into Paris and then out again.

I will then be returning to Paris Proper from Brugge after 7 days so will I be better off purchasing a Return ticket in the first instance?

Would it be cheaper to purchase a single ticket from CDG to Brussels and then a single ticket from Brussels to Brugge?

Or would it be better to purchase a return ticket from the CDG - Brussels segment (depending of course if they allow you to return to Paris rather than back to CDG!)

I have had a look at some train sites but I have not been very successful sorting this out and would very much appreciate some specific instructions on what to enter on such train sites etc..

The time of the year will be October

Also how far ahead can you book on these train sites?

Then if all else fails, can you get a Coach from CDG directly to Brugge?

Thankyou ahead of time for any assistance

There is only one(1) SNCF/TGV train station at CDG--%26#39;..AÉROPORT CDG 2 TGV..%26#39; which is part of the CDG #2 terminal building complex. The station is located between CDG #2-C %26amp; D ans #2-E %26amp; F. It is also easily accessed via the CDGVAL shuttle/train from CDG #1.

There are a few trains that will go directly from AÉROPORT CDG2 TGV station and BRUSSELS-Midi station...for connection onward to BRUGGES. There are also some TGV connections from AÉROPORT CDG 2 TGV, though LILLE-Europe, with a train change here, onward to BRUSSELS The problem for you with this direct route may be one of airline arrival and train departurture schedules at CDG. MOST of the train service to BRUGGES will be from PARIS-Gare du Nord. This means that you would have to make your way from CDG to PARIS-Gare du Nord via the direct RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne train from CDG #2 TGV/RER train station (approx 30 mins), then come up to the main ligne portion of the Gare du Nord station complex, transferring to the THALYS trains onward to BRUSSELS-Midi, then connect onward via regional train to BRUGGES.

I suspect that unless your air arrival and train departure schedules %26#39;mesh%26#39;....your best bet will be CDG into PARIS-Gare du Nord via RER %26#39;B%26#39; train...then THALYS high speed train from PARIS-Gare du Nord to BRUSSELS-Midi...then onward to Brugges via regional train.

For the best and most comprehensive train scheduling information, use the DIE BAHN (German National Railways) web site for research purposes. For actual ticket purchases either the direct THALYS site or the general SNCF/TGV site

DIE BAHN--

www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml

THALYS--

http://www.thalys.com/fr/en/

SNCF/TGV--

http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

And before you say, %26quot;..this is too much trouble..%26quot; and go to the RailEurope site...make certain that you check what the fares and schedules are through the national railways sites....so that you%26#39;ll know how much RailEurope is overcharging you.
