I am trying to plan a lunch within a short distance of Place de Vosges. Can someone suggest something that is a %26quot;must%26quot; for a couple of foodies?
Thank you!

We have a little tradition of always ending our Paris visits with lunch at Ma Bourgogne on the Place des Vosges itself. I%26#39;m not sure about its %26#39;foodie%26#39; credentials but we always enjoy it, particularly eating something hearty when the rain is dripping from the collonades.

Thank you Tapl! This is a restaurant that I had looked at...glad to have a first hand account. The menu looks perfect for a nice relaxing lunch.

Went here after walking tour that ended in Place.

Ma Bourgogne is nice (not sure if it%26#39;s a %26#39;must%26#39; however) especially if you get to sit outside. They only accept cash.

Paris 1204...do you any other %26quot;musts%26quot; for the area near Place des Vosges?

Hi, sorry, no I don’t, but I’m sure others have suggestions.

Ma Bourgogne has a nice atmosphere and the food is good without being gourmet but because it doesn%26#39;t accept ANY credit cards make sure you have enough cash with you. It probably keeps the clientele mostly French as most tourists pay with credit card. I can recommend dinner places in the area but not lunch.

We%26#39;ve always enjoyed Chez Robert, which became l%26#39;Impasse and is now Les Cotelettes.
Haven%26#39;t been there since year before last, but food was always delicious at very reasonable prices. This is the sort of place most have in mind when looking for a %26quot;wonderful Bistro%26quot;.

Also like to wander over to Place du Marché Sainte-Catherine where there are several terrific places to check the menus for appealing offerings.
