Help needed for a 4 day itinerary

Hi,

My husband and I are going to Paris for the first time. We are arriving Saturday 27 June 10am and leaving Wednesday 1st July early am and are staying near the Metro Station Republique. As we have only limited time we are needing help with our itinerary from any experts. We are wanting to visit - Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Pantheon and any other attractions worthwhile. We are booked into Moulin Rouge on the Monday evening.

Would be very grateful for any suggestions, thank you.

I am not a Paris %26quot;expert,%26quot; but have visited 4 times. I think that it would be very helpful if you looked thru a guidebook--for example, the Fodor%26#39;s guide is very basic and organized--or even read a bit about attractions/things to do on this website. Kind of narrow things down a bit--and also decide what your individual priorities are because everyone is a bit different. Some are museum-oriented, some prefer shopping/sightseeing, some are looking for nightlife, some are early risers and ready to get in lines to see the major %26quot;attractions.%26quot; Some would do well on group guided tours, and others would avoid that, get out their map, and walk the streets of various neighborhoods. Are you into history, photography, food, long walks? Try to determine a bit what you are looking to %26quot;accomplish.%26quot; Maybe a very busy whirlwind %26quot;see everything%26quot; experience seems most satisfying to you, or maybe a more laid-back ramble thru some of the city%26#39;s picturesque neighborhoods is more your style. Neither choice is a %26quot;bad%26quot; one, but I think you need to decide what suits you and what your priorities are--or at least your style.

If you are seeing the Moulin Rouge show on Monday evening, it obviously makes sense to see Montmartre/Sacre Coeur area before the show. So I would suggest reading about those areas in a guide book and deciding what suits you--hours and attractions--and then you%26#39;ll have your Monday planned. That will give you a starting point.

How tired will you be upon arrival on Saturday--as in, how long is your flight/travel? Keep in mind that most stores are closed Sundays--work around that.

You are going at a beautiful time of year!

fish07, have a look at this thread. Travelnutty kindly put it together and I think you%26#39;ll find it very helpful:
