Airport authorities have set up a crisis cell at Charles de Gaulle.
Really scarey with trip to Paris coming up.

Just reported on BBC News that a French minister has confrmed that it will have run out of fuel by now. That means it%26#39;s come down on the water in some way.
The fact that there has been no contact at all from the plane to say it was in trouble doesn%26#39;t look good. There are no emergency signal at all from the plane or liferafts.

We complain about waiters, stress about currencies, moan about baggage losses etc etc
and so on.
Certainly brings a perspective to things.

Yep. We%26#39;ve got 10 flights in June/July. It certainly focuses the mind!

Being reported by the BBC that a message was received from the plane saying that there was an electrical short circuit after they went through some turbulence.

A spokesperson from AirFrance, Brigitte Barrand, has now said that there is no longer any hope for this airplane to be rescued.
The poor poor people. Now we can only hope that they will find the airplane, so that the relatives can at least know for certain.
