CDG to Paris apartment on rue de Richelieu then to Orly

Hi everyone we are comming from Australia to our first visit to Paris with our two children aged 7 and 10. We are staying in an apartment on rue de Richelieu and arriving at 7am on a Friday at CDG and flying from Orly at 11.30am on Tuesday. We are thinking of buying a 5 day 6 zone transport pass but not sure if we would be able to use this to get to and from the airports we are using. We are also looking at doing a day at Disney and possibly Versailles for one day. I am wanting to know if

1) Can we use this pass to get to and from CDG and Orly

2) If we can is this the easiest way to get to and from our accommodation or is there better options.

3) IF we do use public transport for getting to and from the airports which do we use.

Thank you for your advice in advance.

1) Which pass? There are a couple available, and some include the airports, but not all. The 5-day Paris Visite does include the airports, but...

2) depends on how much luggage you have -- with jetlag, the last thing you likely want to do is deal with two tired kids and a boatload of luggage. (been there, done that) I%26#39;d suggest a cab or the Roissybus, then a cab to your hotel.

3) Again a cab or the Orlybus for getting to Orly -- same reason as above, and you%26#39;ll need to be AT the airport by 8.30-9.00 on Tuesday

Sorry I was meaning the Paris Visite 1-6 zone ticket for 5 days

Agree with Sunshine. Take a taxi to and from your lodgings. It might be 50 euros from CDG, and 40 to Orly. Maybe less than that, depending on traffic.

Disneyland and RATP have package prices from central Paris. Look them up.

If you go to Disneyland and Versailles, that will give you only one full day in Paris.

and if, as I am guessing, you are arriving from Adelaide at 7 am, none of you will be in any condition for dropping your bags and zooming off for a day of sightseeing. Take it easy that first day -- take a shower, get a decent lunch, and stay outside in the daylight -- you%26#39;ll be a jet-lagged wreck. Put the kids to bed at their normal time, then you call it a day at 10-11p, too. Get a good nights%26#39; sleep, then use your time in Paris. Skip Disney this trip -- it will be jammed on a weekend, and plastic fantasy isn%26#39;t worth losing a day out of your first visit to Paris.
