How far is the train station from the market, and is it well signposted, please? Directions most welcome -my Italian is even worse than my French...

It%26#39;s only a 5-min walk. As you come out of the train station (white square marked %26quot;stazione ferroviaria%26quot; on the map), walk straight down %26#39;Via della Repubblica%26#39; towards the seafront, you can%26#39;t miss it. The market stalls are along the streets marked in red on the map :
