Hotel Question?

Hi,

I%26#39;m sorry if the answer to this is already posted somewhere, there is a lot of info and I%26#39;ve not had chance to look through it all!

Going to Paris for a weekend at the end of May, looking for a hotel for one night, around £100 for a double room and, it needs to be central to touristy stuff.

We%26#39;re looking for somewhere with a bit of character, or a bargain.

We%26#39;re coming in on eurostar if that helps too. Really, i%26#39;d be grateful if someone had a good experience somewhere that meets the criteria and would recommend as i# struggling to search through all the different sites.

Thanks a lot,

Chris

I stayed with some friends at Hotel Du Louvre Forum, about 5 minutes walk from the Louvre and near the Metro at Les Halles, only 2 or 3 stops fron Gare Du Nord. Clean and quiet, helpful staff and about 110/120 Euros.Lots of local cafes for breakfast. A very typical Parisian tourist hotel, the rooms are small and the lift/staircase are tiny.

Sounds good, i%26#39;ll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any other ideas?
