bordeaux area walking

going to st andre de cubzac area n of bordeaux-any good walks in the area please?

Saint-André-de-Cubzac is not exactly one of the Bordeaux region%26#39;s major tourist spots (although there are some interesting sites in the area like the prehistoric grotto of Pair-non-Pair in nearby Tauriac).





For walking, I%26#39;d recommend driving north several kilometers north towards Bourg to the Corniche de la Gironde, a narrow road which runs right along the estuary. Among the interesting aspects of the walk are views of the troglodyte dwellings--some still in use--carved into the limestone at the foot of the hills overlooking the estuary.
