Chateau De Jonvilliers BnB

If you want to tour Paris and also the countryside then you need to check out this BnB. http://www.chateaudejonvilliers.com/Home.html It is very reasonably priced at 75Euros per night. Dinner is offered for 15 euros. Vergi%26#39;s cooking will rival the best chefs of Paris! The host and hostess (Richard and Vergi) were awesome and were better than any 5-star hotel in terms of convenience, ambiance, hospitality and value for the service. They also have a cottage available for larger groups.

The BnB is convenient to Paris. We rented a car thru hotwire.com from the CDG airport and made the BnB our home base. Make the car rental reservations from your home country to save money and learn a bit about the rules of the road for Paris and France in advance of arrival.

The first 2 days we were there we drove to the train station in Epernon from Jonvilliers (8 min. drive) and rode the train in to Paris. Parking was 1.5 Euros in Epernon and our car was safe.

Over the next 4 days we drove our rental car from the BnB in Jonvilleirs to Versailles, Gallardon, Chartres, Maintenon and back to Gallardon again. We saw castles, churches, chateaus, gardens and tons of gorgeous architecture. We were able to see the tourist side of Paris and the real-life happenings of the country-side residence. Staying at the BnB gave us the best of all worlds.

The 35 acres grounds of the BnB were breathtaking and afforded many photographic opportunities. We spent many hours just wandering the groomed paths, gardens and sipping tea or wine in the beautiful expanse of lawns.

This BnB is one of the best kept secrets in France.

The BnB offers a very quiet and friendly atmosphere without the hustle, bustle and noise of the city but is just a stone%26#39;s throw away.

The week were there flew by and we hated to leave. My husband and I are already planning our vacation for next year and we plan to stay at the Chateau De Jonvilliers BnB once again.

Thank you Vergi and Richard for making our stay so special and so too our 21st anniversary!
